The educational program “Public Order Authorised Professional Practice” (APP) is installed in the UK by the college of policing. It focuses on the command of public order and tactical training. It provides recommendation and guidance on communication and public order, and refers also to communication with press in several chapters, considering that press plays a key role on the premise on the basic right of access to information. Among other content also a video on the role and status of journalists is to be found there.
