Inside the Italian Ministry of Interior a Coordination Centre for monitoring, analysis and exchange of information on intimidation of journalists was installed. It consists of the Minister of Interior (Chair), the head of police, a high representative of public security and the President of the National Federation of the Italian Press and high representatives of the national journalist association. The centre develops strategies how to react on intimidation of journalists and monitors and analyses data provided by regional administrations.
