Training programmes have been launched in Sweden to help the police improve their ability to deal with hate crimes and crimes against democracy. Five-day specialist courses have also been created by Uppsala University for police officers working on hate crimes and crimes against democracy. Other issues covered in these training programmes include freedom of the press and freedom of journalists and how to investigate hate crimes and crimes against democracy.
